With the same go-getter attitude that made Morritt's Resort a hit in the Cayman Islands, David Morritt decided to try something new in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec. It's like he brought a bit of that island magic to the mountains of Canada!

David's adventure in Mont-Tremblant started a lot like his story in the Cayman Islands. Back then, when he couldn't find a room in Seven Mile, he stumbled upon the Tortuga Club, fell in love with it, bought it, and made it bigger. In Mont-Tremblant, a simple walk in the woods led him to a charming bed and breakfast by the peaceful Lake Moore. He stayed the night, and the next morning, the view was so stunning it sparked a big idea in him.

"Just like in East End, I had a vision…the lake, the beach, the trees were beautiful,” he says.  He then found out the bed and breakfast was up for grabs. Initially, the plan was to build 55 apartments, but when the local folks heard about David's success in Cayman, they said, "Let's make it 124!"

Even when the whole world was trying to figure out 2020, David wasn't afraid to roll up his sleeves and start building. He likes to say, "I build when no one else does, and sell when no one else does."

And that's how Château Morritt came to be, with lovely suites where families can stay, and a cozy Auberge, making sure everyone can enjoy the beauty of Mont-Tremblant, no matter their budget. It's a place where warmth, charm, and a friendly smile welcome you, just like David Morritt himself.
